Healthy Planning Leadership Series: What’s New, What Matters, What’s Next

We are pleased to share on Thursday, June 11, 2015 from 1-2pm the Governor’s Office of Planning & Research begins the first webinar of their Healthy Planning Leadership Series. If you are interested in building and supporting healthy communities this will be of particular interest to you, particularly planners, public health professionals, elected officials, and health care providers.

If you are interested in joining the webinar, register here.

This webinar aligns with WALKSacramento and our multidisciplinary advisory council, Design 4 Active Sacramento‘s work to advance the connection between health and the built environment in the Sacramento Region. We are looking forward to working with SACOG on a grant from the Strategic Growth Council on various forms of technical assistance to help support local infill and revitalization efforts, transportation choices, and implementation of the MTP/SCS.

Email WALKSacramento if you are interested in more information.
