Walkers,

How do our low income residents get around?  What challenges do they face?  What need to change to offer more opportunities for active transportation, walking and bicycling?

Teri Duarte, Executive Director, WALKSacramento, will provide some insights, based on a survey conducted that asked these very questions:

There are many of our auto-subsidized culture who are challenged by our auto-subsidized system.  We need to know more about how to provide a safe, accessible and equitable active transportation network.  Please come on by and learn more.
