Project Background

Sacramento Regional Transit partnered with WALKSacramento to lead community engagement as part of a High Capacity Corridors Study, with the goal of providing faster, more convenient and more reliable service for a larger number of passengers. The study evaluated five corridors for opportunities to deliver high capacity transit service: Watt Avenue, Sunrise Boulevard, Florin Road, Arden Way, and Stockton Boulevard. WALKSacramento worked to engage stakeholders and community members in order to identify high capacity solutions that will work best along each corridor.
