Sacramento County Active Transportation Plan – WALKSacramento

Sacramento County Active Transportation Plan

Project Background

Sacramento County is developing its first ever Active Transportation Plan, with the goal of making walking, biking, and rolling safer, easier, and more comfortable for people of all ages and abilities. Building off of the previous Pedestrian Master Plan in 2007 and the Bikeway Master Plan in 2012, the Active Transportation Plan will take a comprehensive look at all forms of walking, biking, and rolling in the unincorporated County to create a safe and connected network for people to use active transportation in their daily lives.

WALKSacramento is leading community engagement efforts for the Sacramento County ATP, prioritizing conversations with community members living in historically underserved communities in the unincorporated County.
