The Pedestrians Count conference, here in Sacramento from May 14 – 16, 2014, is your opportunity to come together with pedestrian advocates from around California to help build our statewide walking movement! The conference will provide inspiring news on our current successes in bringing more walkable communities, and what more needs to be done. Perhaps most importantly, you will learn from advocates and experts how we can keep stepping forward for safe, healthy and walkable roads and neighborhoods for everyone!!
WALKSacramento urges you to sign up and participate. The movement towards more walkable communities needs strong and informed advocates to help carry the torch. For more information on how your attendance and participation can benefit our regional walking movement, please contact Terry Preston, WALKSacramento Complete Streets Project Coordinator, at: tpreston@walksacramento.org,
